President Bešoev has been allowed to dissolute the legislature of October 17th due to a law that has been passed to guarantee a 1% threshold of votes for legislative votes. Thus, the constitutional court allowed the President of the Socialist Republic of Sveland to issue new snap elections tonight. Results have been given tonight at 9PM Paris Time:
Popular Union : 50.7% = 111 & 36 seats
Communist Party of Sveland : 14.1% = 30 & 10 seats
Social-democratic Party of Sveland : 11.3% = 24 & 8 seats
Farmer-Citizen Movement of Sveland : 5.6% = 12 & 3 seats
Republicans : 5.6% = 12 & 3 seats
Samen! : 4.2% = 9 seats in the National Assembly
Green Party : 2.8% = 6 seats in the National Assembly
National Rally : 2.8% = 6 seats in the National Assembly
The Nationals : 1.4% = 3 seats in the National Assembly
Jewish Left of Sveland : 1.4% = 3 seats in the National Assembly
New parties that haven’t been in parliament yet have gained seats, except for the URO, aka Right and Independents Union, a centre-right liberal party.
Alongside that, the Jewish Left and the Green Party have been accepted into the Left Front coalition, gaining 174 seats in the National Assembly, making an even bigger in-government coalition in parliament.
