Irish-based radio station iRadio has launched in Sveland. It has been noted that the branding is completely independent from that of Bauer Media Group, with the Telecommunications Bureau mentioning that Sveland “does not need Bauer corruption, but rather needs a comeback of excellent independent stations, thus our decision to allow for an independent iRadio”.
The media group owning it, Groupa82, wishes to target an English speaking audience throughout the more populated northern parts of the country. More to come as the Telecommunications Bureau is considering to allow a frequency in the south west of Sveland, particularly in the city of Omigrad. It currently composes of the following frequencies:
Doetinlingen : 103.7 FM
Herlecht/Northern Midlands : 102.1 FM (replacing Radio 538, which has been moved to 102.5 and is now directional
Vilren : 106.2 FM
Sint-Pieter : 103.3 FM
Enzee : 103.1 FM
Zaltkerk : 104.4 FM
Aareik : 106.7 FM
Bolsrade : 104.0 FM
Tragal : 105.7 FM
Emmelburg : 96.9 FM
Omigrad might see a local transmitter for iRadio on 103.7 FM later on March 2026, following Radio Shanson in the region.
